Sports Guardian
For Individuals
Launched in 2021, Sports Guardian offers an innovative smart safety solution for any activity whereby individuals store their medical and emergency contact information in a secure app. In an emergency, the information can be accessed via a QR code on the Sports Guardian wristband. Critically, anyone with a smart phone can scan the QR code and access summary medical information, harnessing the power off the public in ensuring that first responders are made aware of potentially life-saving information. Even if you have no known medical conditions, this is still useful information to first responders when they are trying to diagnose and stabilise someone.
The QR code is locked by default for your privacy and is only unlocked, making your information accessible, by you in the app or when your wristband is scanned to check you into a participating Sports Guardian club, venue or event.

For Organisations, Clubs, Venues and Events
Sports Guardian offers a best-in-class safety solution for your members, with the added benefit of a secure safety and medical alert ID for personal use by them.
To truly protect your members, it should be compulsory for them to wear the wristbands during any activity at your club, venue or event, though this is entirely your choice.
All Sports Guardian own brand, affiliate and partner bands can be used at any Sports Guardian affiliate or partner club, venue or event and for personal use. All types of bands work the same way for your members.
The staff and venue side of the app uses STRICH.io scanning software which provides fast scanning with an offline capability which has been tried and tested by companies across a range of industries. Current users include Swiss Federal Railways, renowned for their reliability, and Brooklyn Public Library, one of the largest public library systems in the US.

Strategic Partnership with The Royal Life Saving Society
Sports Guardian is a strategic partner of the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS UK).
It is RLSS UK's purpose to enhance communities, so everyone can enjoy being in, on and around water, safely; because every life is worth saving. The charity has a history dating back to 1891 of helping to reduce the number of lives lost to drowning. RLSS UK runs awareness campaigns, education and training and has a wealth of resources on its website including water safety advice and resources for individuals and families.
With a core mutual aim of promoting safety around water, Sports Guardian and the RLSS UK are proud to work together to expand and promote the use of medical ID bands when going open water swimming.
