How to measure your wrist

Deciding what size bracelet to buy can be a little tricky. To help, we have put together this handy guide. The size you need will depend on the type of bracelet you are considering.

Choosing the correct size for your (metal) bracelet

The best way to find the size for your bracelet is to measure your wrist at the narrowest part with a tape measure. Try not to leave the tape too loose or to have it too tight. This is your standard wrist size. If you do not have a tape, you could carefully use a piece of string or paper around your wrist and measure this against a flat ruler.

For bracelets with chains. Add 20mm to 30mm (3/4" to 1.1/4") to your measured size depending how slack you like your bracelet to be. Chained bracelets are normally worn quite loose.

For flat/rigid style bracelets. Add 10mm to 20mm (½" to ¾") to your measured size depending how tight you like your bracelets to be.

This is the size that you should use for ordering. If you find that you are between sizes, you should take the larger size.

We always include any links we remove from your bracelet so you can always make it larger again if it is too tight - we would recommend you take it to a local jeweller to see if they can put a link back in otherwise you can always return the bracelet to us for resizing. All sizes are approximate and may be a couple of millimetres out one way or the other.

If you do need to return a bracelet for resizing, please phone or email us first to arrange payment - we charge £8.50 (UK Only) for the resizing and re-posting back to you. Please note, you will have to pay the postal charge to return the bracelet to us. We recommend you send it "Recorded Signed For" to help ensure the safe delivery.

Choosing the correct size for your (silicone / leather) bracelet
If you are purchasing a strapped silicone or leather bracelet then the sizing is a little different. If the strap on the item is adjustable then you can measure your wrist as is (not too tight though) and you can use this as your base measurement. So long as your wrist measurement is within the stated sizes (max / min) of the bracelet strap then you will be fine.

For a sealed silicone bracelet then you need to measure your wrist, again not too tight. This will be the minimum size you require. You need to add a small amount to the measurement but this is a matter of personal preference as to how slack you want the band. Often it is easier to take a strip of paper and to cut it to the correct size. You can then wrap it round your wrist and tape up the ends. This will show you how the silicone bracelet will sit on your wrist. You don't want it tight like an elastic band would be.

The size I want is not listed!
If you are interested in one of our bracelets but we are not offering it in the size you need, please contact us by email or give us a call and we will be happy to see what we can do.

Still unsure or worried about the size?
If you are still unsure, why not buy the bracelet at the standard size (with or without engraving) then have your local jeweller resize it for you? This way you can get the bracelet tailored to the exact size you require without the worry.
